Manu Bay Challenges World's Best on Day 2 of Corona Cero New Zealand Pro

MANU BAY, Raglan, New Zealand - Competition has continued today at the Corona Cero New Zealand Pro Presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 4 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Raglan's Manu Bay returned to life for Day 2 of competition, delivering mostly clean and at times slow, challenging waves in the two-to-four foot range. Huge weekend crowds saw 16 heats completed to determine the women's Quarterfinals and men's Round Three. 

New Zealand claims Singapore Women's HSBC SVNS title

In the women’s competition, New Zealand beat fierce rivals Australia 36-7 in the final of the HSBC SVNS Series, which secured their third successive title in Singapore. In a sport built on rivalries, these two powerhouses had met in the previous two finals this season, with New Zealand title winners in Dubai before Australia reigned supreme in Cape Town.

WSL Championship Tour Heads Across the Ditch Ahead of Inaugural Corona Cero New Zealand Pro

An entirely new experience awaits the world's best surfers as the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) crosses the Tasman Sea for Stop No. 4, the Corona Cero New Zealand Pro Presented by Bonsoy. As the WSL celebrates 50 years of the World Tour, the high-performance left of Raglan's Manu Bay will welcome the CT for the first time ever, opening a fresh chapter in New Zealand's professional surfing history that dates all the way back to the very beginning of professional surfing.
