LOWER TRESTLES, San Clemente, Calif., USA - It was an all-or-nothing marathon day at the Lexus Trestles Pro, Stop No. 9 of the World Surf League (WSL) 2026 Championship Tour (CT), with all-day action powering through remaining men's Round 2, Heats 12 - 16, men's Round 3, and women's Round 2 battles in overlapping fashion. More consistent, four-to-five-foot swell set the stage at Lower Trestles to deliver a high-performance spectacle from the world's best and set up for Finals Day. The hunt for postseason continues with the list of names narrowing, and it all comes down to the Quarterfinals when competition resumes. 

Competition Off for Next Two Days at Western Australia Margaret River Pro

MARGARET RIVER, Western Australia, Australia (Wednesday, April 22, 2026) - With strong swell and onshore winds continuing to lash the coast around Margaret River, the holding pattern will continue at the Western Australia Margaret River Pro, Stop No. 2 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). With only 14 heats remaining and lighter, offshore winds forecast from Friday, the decision has been made to keep the event on Standby until at least Friday, when conditions become more contestable later this week. 

Gabriela Bryan and Miguel Pupo Win the 2026 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy

BELLS BEACH, Victoria, Australia (Saturday, April 11, 2026) - Today, Gabriela Bryan (HAW) and Miguel Pupo (BRA) won the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 1 of the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Bryan and Pupo have etched their names into surfing folklore, winning one of surfing's most prestigious events, each for the first time. The pair were top performers all week in an assortment of conditions, with the event eventually culminating in semi-clean four-to-five foot swell at Winkipop, some of the best waves seen over the event period.

George Pittar and Lakey Peterson Win 2026 Western Australia Margaret River Pro

MARGARET RIVER, Western Australia, Australia (Sunday, April 26, 2026) - Today, George Pittar (AUS) and Lakey Peterson (USA) won the Western Australia Margaret River Pro, Stop No. 2 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), in front of a huge Sunday crowd at Main Break. For Peterson, it was her second victory at this location, while it was Pittar's maiden win at the elite level. After a long week of stormy, onshore conditions, the Finals were contested on the last day of the 11-day window under clear blue skies on a perfect, clean, three-to-four foot waves at Margaret River's Main Break. 

Manu Bay Challenges World's Best on Day 2 of Corona Cero New Zealand Pro

MANU BAY, Raglan, New Zealand - Competition has continued today at the Corona Cero New Zealand Pro Presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 4 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Raglan's Manu Bay returned to life for Day 2 of competition, delivering mostly clean and at times slow, challenging waves in the two-to-four foot range. Huge weekend crowds saw 16 heats completed to determine the women's Quarterfinals and men's Round Three. 

Quarterfinalists Finalized at WSL Surf City El Salvador Pro Presented by Corona Cero

PUNTA ROCA, La Libertad, El Salvador  -  High stakes unfolded at the Surf City El Salvador Pro Presented by Corona Cero, Stop No. 5 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), with the conclusion of men's Round Three in pulsing Punta Roca conditions, still providing eight-to-ten-foot wave faces, to determine Quarterfinalists. As consistency slowed, the event was called off for the day with both men's and women's Quarterfinals now set for a possible Finals Day.
