50th Year of World Tour Set to Kick Off at Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy

BELLS BEACH, Victoria, Australia (Thursday, March 26, 2026) - The World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) will commence its 2026 season with the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy. To celebrate the 50th year of the World Tour, competitive surfing's longest-running event will open the season for the first time in 25 years. Held April 1 - 11, the iconic Bells Bowl will light up with the Tour's elite, including a host of returning World Champions and a new Rookie class.

All Systems Go For Morocco Mall Junior Pro Casablanca

The World Surf League (WSL) Europe and Africa's 2026 Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) season starts tomorrow at the Morocco Mall Junior Pro Casablanca. It has a competition window from May 6-10, 2026 at Ain Diab. The competition is co-sanctioned between Europe and Africa, with points going to both regions' competitors. 

Big Opening Day At Morocco Mall Junior Pro Casablanca

AIN DIAB, Casablanca, Morocco - The World Surf League (WSL) Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) 1,000, the Morocco Mall Junior Pro Casablanca, got underway today in contestable and fun surf at Ain Diab, Casablanca. It was a solid opening day of competition, completing the two biggest rounds of the men's division, while the women enjoyed an off day. The next call will be on Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 a.m. GMT+1.  It is the first co-sanctioned pro junior between the Europe and Africa regions, with athletes from both regions earning points towards their regional rankings. As the first stop of the 2026 JQS season, the event has attracted more than 150 athletes from all over Europe and Africa.

Competition Off for Next Two Days at Western Australia Margaret River Pro

MARGARET RIVER, Western Australia, Australia (Wednesday, April 22, 2026) - With strong swell and onshore winds continuing to lash the coast around Margaret River, the holding pattern will continue at the Western Australia Margaret River Pro, Stop No. 2 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). With only 14 heats remaining and lighter, offshore winds forecast from Friday, the decision has been made to keep the event on Standby until at least Friday, when conditions become more contestable later this week. 

Finals Day Set For Tomorrow At Morocco Mall Junior Pro Casablanca

AIN DIAB, Casablanca, Morocco - After a lay day at the World Surf League (WSL) Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) 1,000, the Morocco Mall Junior Pro Casablanca resumed today to complete the men's Round of 32. Conditions were tricky, but this didn't stop the top-performing juniors from showcasing their skills and delivering some massive performances to decide the Quarterfinals. Finals Day is set for tomorrow, and the next call will be on Sunday, May 10 at 7:00 a.m. GMT+1.

Gabriela Bryan and Miguel Pupo Win the 2026 Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy

BELLS BEACH, Victoria, Australia (Saturday, April 11, 2026) - Today, Gabriela Bryan (HAW) and Miguel Pupo (BRA) won the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 1 of the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Bryan and Pupo have etched their names into surfing folklore, winning one of surfing's most prestigious events, each for the first time. The pair were top performers all week in an assortment of conditions, with the event eventually culminating in semi-clean four-to-five foot swell at Winkipop, some of the best waves seen over the event period.

George Pittar and Lakey Peterson Win 2026 Western Australia Margaret River Pro

MARGARET RIVER, Western Australia, Australia (Sunday, April 26, 2026) - Today, George Pittar (AUS) and Lakey Peterson (USA) won the Western Australia Margaret River Pro, Stop No. 2 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), in front of a huge Sunday crowd at Main Break. For Peterson, it was her second victory at this location, while it was Pittar's maiden win at the elite level. After a long week of stormy, onshore conditions, the Finals were contested on the last day of the 11-day window under clear blue skies on a perfect, clean, three-to-four foot waves at Margaret River's Main Break. 

High Intensity Matchups Determine Finals Day for Outerknown Tahiti Pro Presented by I-SEA

TEAHUPO'O, Tahiti, French Polynesia (Wednesday, August 12, 2026) - The stage has been set for Finals Day at the Outerknown Tahiti Pro Presented by I-SEA, Stop No. 7 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), after another massive day of competition at Teahupo'o. The fifth straight day of heats running was the biggest yet, with 16 matchups seeing the completion of women's Round Two and men's Round Three in four-to-six-foot plus semi-clean surf to set the Quarterfinals.

Jackson Bunch Takes Provisional Challenger Series Lead With Highest Score on Second Day of Competition at Banco do Brasil São Sebastião Pro

The Banco do Brasil São Sebastião Pro continued today with the Men's Round of 64 at Praia de Maresias on the coast of São Paulo. Stop No. 3 of the World Surf League (WSL) 2026 Challenger Series (CS) brings some of the world's best surfers to the region through October 3. This marks the first time São Paulo has hosted a Challenger Series event. The next call is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. local time, with a possible 7:35 a.m. start.

Manu Bay Challenges World's Best on Day 2 of Corona Cero New Zealand Pro

MANU BAY, Raglan, New Zealand - Competition has continued today at the Corona Cero New Zealand Pro Presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 4 of the 2026 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT). Raglan's Manu Bay returned to life for Day 2 of competition, delivering mostly clean and at times slow, challenging waves in the two-to-four foot range. Huge weekend crowds saw 16 heats completed to determine the women's Quarterfinals and men's Round Three.
